Tropical Freeze

Tropical Freeze in Ridgeville is looking for a few team members with Exceptional Customer Service for the 2018 ice cream season!

If you are 16 years old, on the honor roll, are available most evenings and weekends of the summer, Tropical Freeze might be the perfect job for you!

Duties include but are not limited to: serving the public, being a team player, handling money, making change, running a POS system (point of sale cash register). Working with food, ice cream machines, fryers and a grill. All aspects of the restaurant business including doing dishes, cleaning, sweeping & mopping.

Hours per week are from 12 to 20+ depending on skills & availability. We are also looking for a few people to help during the lunch rush from approximately 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. We are the busiest evenings and weekends, so the days and times you are available to work are very important in our hiring decisions.

OhioMeansJobs K-12 is a no-cost career planning resource that focuses on opportunities available in Ohio. This tool lets students create a profile of their interests. It also provides career information, a plan and budget for education and training, possible occupations and potential salaries. Get started at OhioMeansJobs.com and click on the K-12 icon (cardinal with a graduation cap). On the site, click on the “Explore It” menu, which includes an interest survey for middle school, a profile for the student’s interests, a search feature for occupations, earnings and training and a budget tool for living on your own. This tool replaces the former Ohio Career Information System and is available to any student and school in Ohio.
